One Year!
Yesterday was our one year anniversary and we celebrated by going to the Melting Pot. Neither one of us had ever been, but it was a lot of fun.
We started off with a Fiesta Cheese Dip, then a house salad, followed by the Fondue Feast only to finish it all off with the Smores Chocolate dip.
Mike enjoying the shrimp.
Cooking in the pot. The feast included chicken, pork, sirloin, steak, ravioli, wild mushroom ravioli, mushrooms, broccoli, squash and potatoes.
The cheese dip we chose came with 3 different types of bread, tortilla chips, granny smith apples, carrots, celery, and cauliflower (spelling?)
When they brought the dessert out the flambeed table side! It looked a lot cooler in person. The dessert was a chocolate with marshmellow cream with crushed grahm crackers on the top. We had marshmellow that were covered in either grahmn crackers or oreos, bananas, strawberrys, cheesecake, brownies, pound cake and grahmn crackers to dip in the chocolate. It was amazing!!!
We had a great night and its been an amazing year!! Thanks to everyone who has been with us this past year to make so many memorable moments!

Another Virginia Weekend
This past weekend Mike and I made another trip up to Virginia. And for what? Another wedding! This weekend my friends from highschool Mandy and Ira got married. It was outside and a little hot but it was a lot of fun!
This is the only half way decent picture of Mike and I. I do not even know who took the picture, my camera was just sitting on the table. We were being entertained by Phil's wild parents.
The girls! You can see the Gazebo in the back where the ceremony took place.
Half of the gang. I think the other half was in the drink line.
Before we went to the wedding I took mom and Mike to a Pug Meetup. There is a meetup in Richmond that meets the first saturday of every month. I have been to quite a few, but it was a first for Mike and mom. I think they had fun and were quite surprised at how many Pugs that were there. Tank looks funny in this picture, he was hot.
This time since they were there I finally got a group picture on my camera!! All the pugs that were there, well that we could catch anyways! Hopefully I can find one in Columbia!! Because Tank is here now!!!

What the F****?
Ok, so after the game thursday night Mike, Dave, dave's brother Matt and I return to Mike and Dave's cars to find they are no longer there. Since they parked in front of my law firm on Lady Street I proceed to call my boss at midnight and I say to him, "Charlie, my boyfriend and his friend had their cars parked out on the street, we just got back from the game and they are gone." Charlie says, "Oh I didn't know they were their cars, you don't want to know what happened to them." I say "What happened?" Charlie said, "A 77 year old lady blackout down at the light, pushed the gas, went up on the side walk, took out a meter, slammed straight into the truck (Mike's) which then pushed up on top of the other meter and the nissan (Dave's), all cars are totalled. The cops are waiting for you to call and report them stolen so they can tell you the whole story. I watched the whole thing, I am really sorry. If I had known those were their cars I would have called you." So we called the cops. They came and brought Mike and Dave a copy of the accident report and told us where the cars were. Luckily I had my camera with me to take some pictures. These are just a few picturs from the junk yard. We are getting ready to leave for Virginia, but I promised Mike I would post a quick blog. Again the Chevy truck is Mike's the Nissan is Dave's and the Cadillac belonged to the old lady. Who, by the way, is okay. There was another car involved that was also totalled but was taken to another junk yard.
demolished the steel bumper, apparently she was going 60 miles per hour when she blackout.
Dave's car was parked behind Mike's car on the street. Mike's car was pushed so hard it when right back up and over Dave's car.
It was midnight when we returned to the scene and found out what happened. We then had to go to the junk yard, get their stuff out and then head home about 2:00 am. What a night!
This is the old lady's car. There was some more damage on the back and sides but the picture give you the general idea.
Well Mike and
Dave were pretty shocked and frustrated to say the least. Luckily, no one was seriously injured and the night wasn't a total loss, the Gamecocks beat Kentucky!
